Ask me anything

If something in the guide is unclear, or something in your person's room does not make sense, type it here. Your question comes straight to me, and I answer every one personally.

Questions come to me, not to a company. I am not a medical professional and cannot give medical advice, but I can help you understand the room and find the right person to ask.

What you will receive

One printable trifold, six panels, designed to fold to the size of a phone. Here is what is inside.

Panel by panel

  • Why this guide exists: the story behind it
  • What you are seeing: the monitor, row by row: ECG, RESP, ART, ICP, SpO2
  • Who is in the room: every role on the care team
  • Be their advocate: the five questions for rounds and the notebook
  • If it is your brother or sister: sibling support
  • Taking care of yourself: real advice for long weeks

Printing tips

Print double-sided, flip on the short edge, and fold in thirds. Regular printer paper works fine. If you can only print one side, print the inside pages: the monitor, the team, and the questions.
