A complete ICU room built in three dimensions, rendered live in your browser. Drag to spin the whole room. Scroll to lean in. Click anything, the bed, the monitor, the ventilator, even the chair, and the panel below tells you what it is in plain words. Watch for the small things too: the balloons, the notebook, the teddy bear on the couch.
Every object in this room exists in the real unit. Start with the monitor above the bed. It is actually running. Then work outward: the pumps, the ventilator, the sink, the corkboard where families pin photos, and the chair that belongs to you.
Why we built this
The first walk into a real ICU room is overwhelming. The machines stand three deep and every one of them is attached to someone you love. Two minutes in this practice room changes that first walk. You recognize the monitor. You know the pole holds medicine. You know the hum of the ventilator is a good sound. Familiar is calmer, and calmer families ask better questions.
