Interactive tool
Many people move through an ICU room, and every one of them has a role. Pick the thing on your mind, and this map shows you exactly who to bring it to and what to say.
Pick what is on your mind
In a hospital, the fastest way to get an answer is to bring the question to the person whose job it is. Families lose whole days asking the right question to the wrong person. This tool ends that.
Tap any chip, like Pain, Insurance, or The big picture. The map lights up the person who owns that question, and this panel tells you exactly what to say to them.
Why this works
Every concern in an ICU has an owner. Pain goes to the nurse. Insurance goes to the case manager. Surgery details go to the trauma team. Once you know the owner, the answer comes fast.
Put the answer in your notebook with the name of the person who gave it. Shifts change every twelve hours. Your notebook is the one thing in the room that does not.
You are allowed to say, I did not understand that, can you explain it again. You cannot advocate for a plan you cannot explain. Keep asking until you can say it back in your own words.
